“We are very shocked. After what we experienced last night, we will have many nightmares,” said Ludovic Rabasse, captain of the French trawler Loïc Lucas after being rescued from the English Channel early today.
According to French media, the crew was floating in a liferaft for 30 minutes after being hit by the vessel Ambassadeur, a 6,000 DWT Dutch freighter operated by Ter Stege Rederji.
All four crew members of the Loïc Lucas were rescued by a nearby fishing vessel.
